			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Hello Neighbors<br />
Our current Interim Treasurer has submitted her resignation effective 4/1/12.  We would like to thank Judy Houser for the outstanding work she has done on behalf of the community.  She will be dearly missed.  As a result of her resignation the Board of Directors is currently in need of an Interim Treasurer to serve until elections in 2013.<br />
If you are interested in this position please submit your resume stating your desire to be considered for the job.  Please include any qualifications that you feel will help in doing this job effectively.  However, please note that this office is not as labor intensive as it once was.<br />
The Board of Directors has voted on hiring Francis Stewart CPA, an accounting firm, to handle the financial matters pertaining to the community.  They will be handling most of the traditional duties of the treasurer, including:</p>
<ul>
<li>send out dues notices</li>
<li>collect dues</li>
<li>deposit dues</li>
<li>keep list of paid dues</li>
<li>send out delinquent notices</li>
<li>write checks for invoices</li>
<li>balance checking account</li>
<li>offers suggestions for vendors</li>
<li>help with budget issues</li>
<li>help with elections and ballots</li>
<li>be one of two signatures on checks</li>
<li>file tax returns as required by the State of Florida and the Federal Government</li>
<li>perform a review of the books of the community as requested by the Board</li>
<li>provide continuity and stability for the HOA</li>
</ul>
<p>Please note that the office of treasurer will be a voting member of the Board and serve as a liaison between the community, the Board of Directors and the CPA firm.  One of the other duties of the treasurer will be to collect mail from our P.O. Box and direct the mail to the appropriate board member or the CPA firm.<br />

Box 361834 Melbourne, FL 32936.  Applications and resumes will be reviewed by the Board for consideration.  Applicants will be contacted after all applications have been reviewed.  The deadline for applications is April 15, 2012.<br />
If you have any questions, please contact Stafford Slaughter, President or any other member of the Board.  Please call after 5p.m. as all of the Board members work during the day.<br />
Unfortunately, we do not have the email addresses of all of the homeowners in Kingsmill.  If you are aware of anyone who may also be interested in this position but has not received this notification, please pass the information on to them.<br />

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Please take a few moments to review the minutes for our bi-annual Community Meeting.  They can be found on the right side of this website under Archived Meeting Minutes.  Our meeting was held on March 20, 2012 as was previously advertised.</p>
<p>Out of 323 homes we had 11 homes represented, not including the Board of Directors, with a total of 13 people from the community in attendance.  We would truly like to see more participation from our community.  Your input is needed!  Please become involved! If you are interested in serving the community, please contact the Board via email or pick up the phone and call one of the Directors.  Please remember, however, that everyone on the Board works during the day so evening contact is preferable.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<div id="_mcePaste">It has come to the attention of the HOA that many of the homes located on the retention ponds have plants and trees that are growing through the fence that borders the ponds.  These plants and/or trees are causing considerable damage to the fence. The HOA cannot address the repair or replacement of the fence until and unless the offending plants/trees are trimmed back from the fence. Any and all plant material that is growing on the pond side of the fence will be removed by the HOA.  This will include any mature trees that have grown completely through the fence and are weakening or damaging the fence.  It would behoove the homeowner to address this issue from their side to ensure that their plants survive this pruning process.</div>
