Several months ago the lights at the front entrance garden were broken by vandals. Just this past week Pete Meyers, our HOA vice president, took the time to replace each one of those lights. We had budgeted for the replacement lights so that our neighborhood would continue to look nice for all of our homeowners.
Unfortunately, there are some people in the neighborhood who do not respect property and who feel that it is their right to destroy what others work so hard to obtain. Last night all of the new lights were broken by vandals who sit up front drinking beer and discarding their beer bottles in the garden.
These new lights cost the community $204.00 to replace. This money comes from the dues that each and every one of us in the community pay every year. Should we decide to continue to replace the lights each time they are broken, our present dues may not be enough to cover the cost. Or some other project may be put on hold due to the continued expense.
A police report has been filed and police patrols have been requested for our neighborhood. If anyone has any idea who might be responsible for this stupid act of vandalism, please let one of our board members know or call the police at 409-2200.
Please help us in identifying those responsible and stop this continued vandalism. This is our community! Let’s work together to protect our property!

A reminder to everyone…please lock your vehicles at all times! One of our homeowners had his GPS stolen from his unlocked vehicle last night. It only takes a moment for unscrupulous, dishonest thieves to take from hardworking and decent people. If anyone has any information, please let us know.

We need a few good people to help in cleaning out a portion of the west canal. The aquatic plant life has multiplied significantly during the last few months. We do have a service provider that is spraying the plants. However, a little assistance in manually removing the plants will help clear up the pond much quicker. If you are interested in participating in the clean up, please contact Alina Miller via email or by phone. She will pass the information on to our pond maintenance liaisons, Herb French and Jim Day.
